Biography

He was born in Oristano, Italy and he graduated with honors in Piano Jazz at “A. Vivaldi” Alessandria Music Conservatory (Italy). He studied with Carlo Alberto Neri, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Luigi Bonafede. 

He tooked part in many important national and international classical music competitions as composer and executor, getting a special mention in the international Competition “G. Metallo” in Bisaccia, Avellino (Italy), 1st award at “Alberto Gori Music Award” in Sarteano, Siena (Italy), “Guido Monaco World Competition” in Arezzo (Italy) and “Assisi Music Award”, in Assisi, Perugia (Italy), the 2nd award at “Harmoniae International Classical Pianist Competition ” in Rome (Italy) and in “Strawinsky IX National Competition” in Valenzano, Bari (Italy) and others more.

Moreover he tooked part in “International Specialization Course in Piano” with M° Carlo Alberto Neri in Chiusi della Verna, Arezzo (Italy), and also in seminars and workshops with international artists as Ramberto Ciammarughi, Massimo Moriconi, John Arnold, Umberto Fiorentino, Fabio Zeppetella, Fabrizio Sferra, Miroslav Vitous, Bebo Ferra, Patrizio Fariselli and many others.

He is clasical and jazz pianist and he performed in national and international festivals with orchestra directors, actors and musicians as Carlo Alberto Neri, Lucrezia Lante della Rovere, Gabriele Betti, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Stefano Senni, Enzo Carpentieri, Zlatko Kaucic, Katja Cruz, Howard Curtis, Andrea Massaria, Cristiano Calcagnile, Ferdinando Faraò, Biagio Coppa, Adrian F. Myhr, Tore T. Sandbakken, Stefano Profeta, Alessandro Deledda, Piero Raffaelli, Massimo Bacci, Lorenzo Massotti, Luca Ricci, Igor Barbaro, professors of the “State Symphonyc Orchestra of Romania”, Jazz  Ensemble of  “B. Marcello” Venice Music Conservatory and others.

From 2001, he organized and performed many concerts for National & International Festivals and Events as CIPAM Festivals, “MusiCaFoscari jazz Festival” Venezia, “Guido Monaco World Competition” Arezzo, “International Piano Summit” at The Bauer Hotel in Venice, International Jazz Workshop “Piano Trio” in Venice Music Conservatory, “Maree Sonore Jazz Festival” Venice, “Sarteano Festival”, SAIJF Isernia, “Enjoy Art Festival”, “Venice Carnival”, “Cimone Festival” Modena, Auditorium “Molracchi” Perugia Music Conservatory, Alessandria “Parvum Theater”, “Sanremo Casino Theater”, Auditorium “Vivaldi” Alessandria Music Conservatory, Perugia Foreigners Students University, Venice Music Conservatory Concert Room, “The Solist and The Orchestra Festival”, “Castello Baronale Martucci” Bari, Auditorium Gazzoli Terni, “Pavone Theater” Perugia and many others.

He composed the opera “Midnight”, for piano and simphonic orchestra, performed in word premiere with M° Carlo Alberto Neri (conductor) and the “Balkan International Simphonic Orchestra” of Bacau (Romania) during the Festival “The Solist and Orchestra” in Tolfa, Rome (Italy).

He premiered the reworking for piano and string quintet’s Toccata by Aram Katchaturjan with the Ensemble Fidelio conducted by Maestro Carlo Alberto Blacks, at the Auditroium Gazzoli of Terni.
